Does anyone out there publish to Micro.blog with Ulysses? Thinking about trying it out, but I’m curious about how things are kept in sync. Do posts published or edited elsewhere—like from the web, for example—reflect back in Ulysses? They do with @danielpunkass’s MarsEdit, but it’s not on iOS.

@jarrod I believe only posts and edits made through Ulysses are tracked

@jarrod It does not reflect back, it’s local only. Basically, think of when you “post” as if you’re just exporting out to the web.

Also, also: if you do a markdown header, that will NOT be your post title. That’s still a separate field. I learned that one the hard way.

@jarrod Ulysses does not sync. It will not manage or edit existing posts. Like iA Writer, Drafts, and others, it purely has support for sending content from the app to the posting API end point. Only MarsEdit offers management, not just write here then post there.

@jarrod IIRC Ulysses only stores those you wrote in Ulysses and I don’t think it syncs back, but I think it keeps track (of those in your Ulysses library) that you published?

Really liked using Ulysses for Mb tho!
