February Photoblogging Challenge Day 28: I recently had to record some footage at the slab-making department (near where I work). Here’s a frame from some of that footage, with a hot steel slab below the deck where I was standing. 📷

@dominikhoecht Hahaha I’m glad that you said that because I’ve mentioned that film numerous times there and some people didn’t know what I was talking about!
@dominikhoecht I know... bizarre! In most cases, they knew what it was but hadn’t seen it or just couldn’t visualise the scene to which you refer.
@martinfeld I was near Pico Blvd in LA, but I couldn’t see TechNoir from where I was standing…😎 @dominikhoecht
@martinfeld In the early nineties, a pal and I used to go “Sarah Connor?” in English with an Austrian accent when we used each other’s door intercom.
@odd Hahaha that intercom thing is classic; I can see it now! I’ve just been telling @NTKF about this, as I bring up Terminator every so often and she hasn’t seen it. It’s good that you and @dominikhoecht have brought this up, so that she knows that I’m not the only dystopian sci-fi person who thinks this way.
@martinfeld “A light that burns twice as bright, burns half as long. And you have burned so very brightly, Roy…”, or something like that. Have you seen 2049?
@martinfeld Unfortunately I had my first time watching it with some people who didn’t care for it, so I was interrupted a lot, but I liked what I saw, and for a sequel it was really good!
@odd Yes, the people with whom you see a film can make a big difference! I remember telling people to shut up in the cinema when I saw Inglourious Basterds.
@dominikhoecht Original films are generally better, with the exception of T2! I loved the soundtrack and visual effects of 2049 but can see why some people thought there was too much slow walking. 😂
@Burk They do tours!
