February Photoblogging Challenge Day 15: On this day ten years ago, I was in Japan and spotted these signs. Even if it’s unintentional, the Japanese achieve a perfect balance of helpful instruction and good humour. 📷

@martinfeld I always enjoyed coming across these in my time there. It is usually just a bad translation but some were so far off it was like solving a puzzle to figure out the original meaning. After I learned some of the language it became easier to reverse translate into proper Japanese. 🇯🇵
