I tried the ‘make text bold’ system setting on the iPhone. Nope, not a fan.
@pratik Do you want the text’s weight to be heavier but just found that the bold setting was too much? Are you after something in between?
@martinfeld I’ve evolved to prefer a lighter font. I had always heard the bold setting being a better visual experience. Perhaps couple of years ago, it would’ve been for me but not today.
@pratik It would be cool if Apple were to provide more granular options for font-weight adjustment, given that it already has impressive support for dynamic type-sizing as an accessibility feature in iOS.
