I received this one as a gift from my wife as I had the 4 and the 5, but never owned the 4S. I was very pleased!

@martinfeld I had the 4 and 5, too! I wonder if we followed similar buying patterns. I was gifted a friend's old 2G, borrowed their 3G and 3GS off and on, but then purchased a 4, 5, 6s, X, 11 Pro, 12 Pro, and now am on the 13 mini.

@martinfeld Good spread. 👌 Have you had a particular favorite? And are you now holding out for another mini form factor too?

@jarrod My favourite iPhone is my current 13 mini, purely because of how far the technology has come (with the benefit of all current features), and the way that they fit it into a smaller design. That being said, I think the 3G was easily the nicest one to hold and I don't believe that any of their designs have come close since then. The curvature and lightness of the 3G's plastic back was delightful and still looked and felt very premium. You can have nice things without the need for heavy glass and stainless steel.

I'd return to a non-mini iPhone if I had to, most likely a standard-sized Pro; my issue is honestly more the weight than the dimensions though.

What has been your favourite?

@martinfeld I think I have to say the same, the 13 mini, because it's so pocketable and portable without significant compromise. It's also the first one that I've gotten in a fun color (red!) and that has made me love it even more. The 12 Pro finally crossed a size barrier that felt all wrong to me, and now it's hard to see me going back to something that size. I will say that I'm intrigued by something Pixel Fold-esque. A manageably-sized phone that expands into an iPad mini-like tablet? Sign me up! But, then I'd be contending with weight, and, you're right. The lightness of the mini is a huge draw.

It's hard to disagree with you about the hand feel of the 3G, but I experienced cracking issues that soured me on plastic. I'm sure it'd be better today, but still. The 4 is probably my second favorite design, not in small part due to nostalgia – and I guess it's no wonder that I love the 13 mini considering their similarities. Yet another reason I'm so tickled to now have one on my wall!

@jarrod @martinfeld In the same club! Had a 11 Pro, but didn’t like the rounded edges, and thought it was a bit too big.

@odd The X and 11 Pro were at the maximum for me. The eek up from 5.8” to 6.1” with the 12 Pro was the just a hair too far to be actively uncomfortable.
