In other news, I’ve gone from following 79 to 90 on the path to my year end goal of 100.

@martinfeld There is nothing really magic about 100 as the target. It was just something I could shoot for that would encourage me to keep looking for more people to follow. And maybe encourage others too because I think following others helps get the best out of Micro.blog.

@ronguest @martinfeld Earlier this year, @colinwalker cited Dunbar’s number while discussing quality of social relationships, and 100 is the lower end of that, so it is magic in that way ;-)

@ronguest @smokey It all makes sense to me! I was just curious as to whether there was a precise reason. Certainly, the benefit of being on this network is following others and having real discussion. :)
