@martinfeld Congratulations on achieving the whole year! Just goes to show how small increments add up in the long run. I liked the chimes from your grandma's clock in the other podcast. ๐
@martinfeld amazing! I think I only got 4 episodes on mine ๐ . I need to get back into it. You along with @canion , @burk have been a big inspiration lately.
@Miraz Thank you very much and I appreciate that you listen to Feld Notes as well! ๐ My grandmother cannot function without that clock (or so she says).
@Burk Thanks so much, Jason! Great to have your support! ๐จ๐ฝโ๐ป๐ฏ
@Gabz Thatโs very kind of you to say! As Iโve mentioned in various places, people here on Micro.blog (like you) have been really encouraging and have reinvigorated my enthusiasm for the Web.
@martinfeld I was just thinking more about it โ as a biographical podcast that clock is an essential part of the environment. Perhaps you could embrace all those ambient sounds of footsteps etc as being an integral part of your gran's current life stage? [Heh, I listen to an NZ science radio / podcast thing where the interviewer recently pointed out the mysterious โghost' noises in the background were Wellington wind howling round one particular researcher's lab.]
@Miraz Yes I totally agree with you! It is a big reason as to why I havenโt sought to move the discussion with her to a different area. Regarding footsteps and so on, theyโre a bit hard to pick up through the closed door (plus everything is carpeted), however you make a good point. When you listen, you can occasionally hear tiny fragments of outside conversation. If the opportunity arises to highlight something like that, then I shall. Thanks for your helpful input! ๐ Cool point about the NZ science podcast...
@martinfeld Congratulations on reaching a year. This was actually the first episode I've listen to, and I went back and listened to the first one after meditating on it for a few minutes. This has come a long way.
@lmika Thank you for going to the effort to compare them; that's great feedback! I appreciate your comment. โบ๏ธ
