Took possession of a roughly 25 years old MTB last week, to become my daily beater. Beautiful old piece of kit. What amuses me to no end, though, is how close the geometry resembles my modern gravel bike. Or rather the other way around. 🚲
@jokef no doubt. Today’s gravel bikes have more in common with 90s rigid MTBs and early hardtails than even the most conservative (geometry wise) XC MTBs.
@agundy pics will come once it’s properly set up. Replacing the grip shifters with regular thumb shifters tomorrow and I need a different lock holder. Oh and I actually sold a bike before I bought this one. Three‘s my limit for now.
