@gregmorris I couldn’t agree more. For me, I think it stems from the feeling that the entire Big Tech industry has just turned ‘evil.’ It’s been exhausting and has reshaped my stance on technology as a self-serving purpose.

@gregmorris I relate to this.

I feel like, for me at least, the issue is not just the pull of consumerism (which is very real for me) but also ideas like 1)I should have access to all my digital stuff, from anywhere, all the time, or 2)I should be able to to work from my phone.

None of this should really be the case. Why do I need to have all my music available all the time? Why do I need to be able to take a picture at any time and then share it immediately with the entire planet?

I think this has made a lot of us, including me, mentally ill. Life should not be like this.
