Tiny Theme 2.7.7 now has broader support for things like asides, alerts, and notes within your content. See examples. It also includes CSS variable support for them to allow easy customization.
@Mtt really cool! I was looking into something like this because of things like obsidian. I was playing with the idea of having a detail/summary but that over complicated things.
Have you thought about making it into a shortcode? I think the tufte theme has pretty good examples.
@Mtt after I wrote that, I felt that just having it as html that an end user adds is probably the best course.
@mandaris It would be pretty easy to do as a short code, BUT it would be a serious headache for someone to switch themes if they’d used those short codes throughout their site.
I’ve intentionally not added any shortcodes directly in the theme for that reason.
