@pandapixels.bearblog.dev I wish I could see the photo in the timeline, although viewing it in a bigger size has its own joy

@maique (tagging this handle coz not sure if you would see the reply if made to only your pandapixels account).

@pratik I will take care of it. Next one will, hopefully, show up here as well.

@pratik Hmmmm… Importing the feed will show the title, and a link to the blog. Using EchoFeed will “inject” the post on the M.b hosted blog, and send it everywhere. I do not want this.

Seems like there is no easy solution. Sorry.

@maique creating a feed for the use of MB cross post/pull in that excludes title element and puts title as content would work.

@jsonbecker Thanks. That would be ideal, yes. I’m not sure I can get a custom feed. Checked the docs and, while there’s a section regarding feeds, no mention is made about custom ones.

@maique No worries. I imagined that would be the issue. Strangely, even though the caption for Glass is a title element, it appears as regular text in the timeline with the photo. Let me post one more to confirm. Anyway, I can always click through knowing there will always be a brilliant photo.

BTW did you get a notification of the mention in addition to the Micro.blog one?

@pratik No, I did not. I have no idea where that notification would even show up. There’s no “messaging” part on the site, and emailing us would probably be the only way to do it. But I did not, no.

Interesting about Glass. I’ve been mostly inactive over there (sorry sorry), but that would probably be very suitable for this b&w project, in fact.

@maique No problem. I had asked Manton about replies made via the timeline to non-Micro.blog sites. He said, that those sites have to be set up for web mentions. Never mind, it seems like a hassle.

And I wasn't trying to make you feel guilty about Glass. Post wherever you find it convenient. We will eventually find you. In case you are curious, my latest photo post was posted to Glass, and I have the RSS feed plugged to cross-post to my blog on Micro.blog.
