For some reason, the Netscape Navigator just popped into my mind. Bizarre

@hawaiiboy I have Quiche Browser installed, with Netscape’s colors on the icon. I pay $1 a month for that privilege, it’s probably the silliest expense I have.

@maique that’s nice. To be honest, it’s something I also would pay for. The only question is. Is it the „best“ browser? I’m still using Chrome and… it just works. 🙃

@ner3y If it works for you, it’s the “best”.

I've had Quiche as my default for a little while - and I think it's all right!

It's pretty bare-bones, but the features it does have are highly customisable and pretty nice. Here you can see that I've made my own toolbar at the bottom, with just the stuff I use the most:

I've chosen Copy Link, Share, New tab and Show tabs. I have back and forwards to the left and right of the address bar.

But there are three reasons I use it, which very well might not apply to you:

1) I value the customisability. 2) I've found out I don't need syncing between mobile and desktop. 3) I'm OK using something from "The Little Guy" even though it might not be quite as good as the vedt. 😅 (I think is Arc.)

@Havn I do like it, and have also a toolbar to fit my needs. The one thing I miss, from Safari, is having the share sheet act the same way. Some of the shortcuts don’t show up 😔

@maique This may not be Quiche’s fault. I am missing share sheet shortcuts everywhere.
