I’m having some fun with the new Micro.blog premium feature, private notes. I’m trying to figure out what parts of my workflow I can move over 😄

@heyloura Beautiful. I’m planning to go same route as you there. I believe it’ll be particularly useful for one-off theme support items.

@pratik Personally, I help a lot of people with Tiny Theme and Micro.blog. Having all of that consolidated in the same place would be nice.

@maique @pratik Is OMG.lol still actively developed? I have many years stored up in my account, but I feel like the development came to a screeching halt. Having said that, I'm not active in the Discord or anything like that.

@Mtt I was wondering the same, then saw the Valentine’s Day sale how active they are.

@huntsyea @maique @pratik Yeah, I got that email too. But I haven't seen many updates/changes beyond having discounted stuff. Even the 25 Days of Christmas thing they were doing stopped abruptly at Day 3-4. A lot of products (like Charms, etc) were announced a long time ago and still haven't been made.

@pratik @heyloura @Mtt I'm currently using Notes for drafts, ideas, and thoughts. And paste for code snippets and/or stuff I want to share with people. I use it thru the app I built.

@Mtt Thanks! I was pretty happy to find the search function worked with emojis so I could use them as tags.

@pratik I could, but I find the UI a little clunky for paste.lol and I do like at least one level of nesting. Plus I like having things consolidated to one service. Especially if I can get the different parts of M.B working together with the API

@heyloura when you say 'private', where are we talking on a scale of the gram to Signal's quantum protocol?

@warner The notes are encrypted on the client before being sent to M.b. server(s). So as long as you trust the client and keep your private key secret and secure it's not bad. I wouldn't use it for anything you must keep private. But for my use case it fits the bill 😊
