Just noticed I’m paying EE £8 a month for my bloody Watch data plan. I’m pretty sure in the one or two occasions I actually needed to use my watch without signal it didn’t bloody work anyway! One to cancel I think!

@AndyNicolaides I had 6 months free, before they would start charging €6 every month. I cancelled the trial after 3 months, I figured I would never need it, and was afraid I'd forget to cancel.
@AndyNicolaides I guess some might find it useful. But when am I ever away from my phone?
@maique @andynicolaides I'm thinking of ditching my watch entirely, despite the fact I like it. In my case, however, I'd also love to do the unthinkable and ditch my phone along with it. The second is probably a pipe dream these days, but still…
@ddanielson I love mechanical watches, but my understanding is their accuracy can be all over the map, and they're much more susceptible to damage should they be hit or banged against something? My current analogue watch is a solar, but there's something very alluring about a nice mech watch instead.
@pimoore @ddanielson coincidentally I just posted about phasing out my Apple Watch and going back to a mechanical one. It’s only been two weeks but I’m not missing my Apple Watch at all. You can also trade a mechanical watch for supplies when the world inevitably collapses!
