@pimoore I love Micro.blog, and what you can do with it. I would miss a ton of things, starting with the tweakability.
@maique When I hit the dice to visit HEY World, most of them weren't updated since 2020 or 2021.
@numericcitizen I tried it a few times today, and got mostly older posts, but some of the blogs I got had newer posts.
@maique yeah... sometimes. I used to love the low friction publishing experience of HEY World. But they failed to updated it.
@numericcitizen What updates did they say they were making? I thought the product delivered what they set out to do. Not what some people (me included) were expecting, but what they promised.
@heyloura Post links here, please! I use HEY World for my few actual blog posts. True, tweakability is minimal, but I think this style of blogging will encourage more people to do it. And for me it avoids the risk of spending hours polishing the look of a post that only took me 15 minutes to write and is only worth 1 minute of the reader's time.
@JohnBrady @maique Woops, wasn't clear. I write them to HEY World and the sync them to my blog. So they do show up on the timeline (yay micro.blog feeds). I really like using my email to compose. It's so easy to save drafts, pick them up on any browser, or even type them up on my phone.
