@BenSouthwood I have a theory... Contrast is important in photos, lighting and shading let the viewer glean from a still what they normally get immersion, and this provides a lot of detail to many parts of the visual system. But there's a semantic and social component to everything as well, and a well-dressed, lively elderly person is defying the stereotype of people in nursing homes,waiting to die. In short, a social statement in contrast to what we expect.
@maique good taste! You need to bring her to Utrecht. There is a kids museum of Miffy that is amazing. Last time I was there with the little one, we were the last ones to leave. 😂
@maique I thought afterwards ‘stylish’ is probably more appropriate. Admittedly, it’s his own style but stylish nonetheless.
@cliffordbeshers Having worked with older people, I know what you mean. I think keeping a bit of spark is important at any age, but the older you get the more important it is; to stave off the potential of giving up on life. Self care is essential.
@pcora We’d all go crazy. I don’t think I’ve ever been to the city as well. Loads of trips to Amsterdam, for work and pleasure, never there.
