@maique enjoyed reading your take on things. For Readwise my biggest issue (yes it is a little pricey too) was that I didn't feel like the RSS Reader part was as good as other things I was using. That part felt clunky and not how one would read an RSS feed. If they cleaned that up I would consider signing up again as it would be for me a one stop shop.

@ericmwalk Thanks. You are right, imported the OPML file from Feedbin to try that out, and it was a mess! I didn't even thought about including that part on the "review", since I'm too happy with Feedbin, but it would be MUCH better if they fixed it.

@maique The perfect tool does not exist.

But a good approach: I am happy with it. Regardless of the price and minor imperfections.

There is also this approach: The tool is cheap and does mostly everything I need. But I am not really happy with it.

To be honest, it fluctuates constantly for me. But approach 1 is my favorite.

@maique I've gone through this recently. I was using Instapaper for reading later, and Readwise for saving highlights and notes. Now I bumped up my Readwise subscription to include Reader, and cancelled Instapaper, so it's all in one place. I also really like the Reader apps. I tried Omnivore briefly but while it is a good free solution, it's UI left a lot to be desired. Oh, and I'm trying out Raindrop to maybe switch from Pinboard.

@samgrover Omnivore is still in beta, so I expect it to change a bit. There’s a video linked in the post that shows a very different Omnivore, slated for release this Monday. But Reader’s level of polish is incredible!
