Thinking about these times a lot lately. We’d go out almost daily, before heading to work.
@Burk It was an incredible time in my life. Loved it, even though we were diving pretty much the same sites day in, day out.
After that I’ve had some memorable days, but far apart. Impressive dives in cenotes in Mexico, a huge cleanup day in Príncipe, but mostly warm waters and twice a year, if I’m lucky.
Went back to this place once, when a friend was doing his last dive of the Open Water, and I tagged along as his buddy. Freezing cold, visibility maybe 2 meters at most. Did my best to bring him back safe to the surface 🤣🤣
@maique We got our open water cert in freezing, super low viz. Sucked at the time, but it's the way to go. I felt that you learn so much more under that pressure. Later on in places like Belize (warm water and visbility forever) it's beyond easy hahah
