Ultra news: I’m adding “exercise more” and “lose some weight” to the Reasons Why I Should list.
I’m aware they could fit in a single item, but the list needs items 🤣

@maique My first edit had a list of more reasons, which is to say: I know this thought process well lol
@SimonWoods 🤣🤣🤣 care to share? There’s someone in the household who’s not totally convinced this is a necessary purchase 😇
@maique Sure, I'll take the blame 😏
These are all much improved from the other models. Between your travelling, the little one, and a job that includes remote work, I don't see how you can't buy this watch. 😇
@SimonWoods Thank you so much and, rest assured, I’m ready to take a beating for this one 😅
Those are also the reasons that made me take a closer look. I do love the design, and the fact that it’s harder to break is a serious consideration for me. I only broke one watch in my life, and it was an Apple Watch. Battery life was a pain on that one, truth be told.
@maique I haven't broken mine but definitely lost confidence in it once Hogan, our Labrador Retriever, joined the family earlier in the year; also, I'm going to be out and about a lot more in the coming months, specifically in the countryside.
The battery was also a big problem, and although I am generally bothered by that with my other Apple devices the fact remains that I have other ways to deal with those (using iPhone less/get a newer model with much better battery, and getting new headphones and speakers to rely less on the AirPods) whilst such options don't really exist for the Watch.
Overall it's not essential, not least because I have other purchases to make first but I wouldn't be surprised it became even more appealing once I have done that.
