One thing I sometimes have trouble with, is keeping my cool at meal times, when tinyMovieStar starts acting up, finding excuses for not eating.
If it wasn’t for movieStar’s endless patience, she would have starved by now, I’m sure.

@frostedechoes This one eats pretty much everything, we’re lucky that way. She just seems to find the whole sit down and eat a waste of time. She has SO many things to do, and she’s missing precious time of fun and games with this food stuff!
@maique Our mantra when our son was little: "No healthy child has starved with food right in front of him." So we figured he was in charge of getting enough to eat, which calmed us down a lot. Sometime's it's just surprising how little a toddler needs to eat!
@JMaxB We are trying this, thank you for the tip, sounds like a great mantra.
@maique I second @jmaxb on letting her have a part in how much she eats. We also tried to make meal times into a small activity where she had to help us do something with the meal like setup everyone’s napkins and silverware. Basically, mimic some kindergarten at home.
@gregmoore In the end, she does have the last word already 🤣🤣 we’re not forcing food down her throat, and even mom’s patience has a limit 🤣🤣
