A momentous day. Our daughter passed her driver’s license road test today with a 91. She has an appointment tomorrow morning to make it all official. I think the parental taxi drivers are more excited about this than she is. 🚗
@ronguest Congrats to your daughter on her licence and her kickass score! They never gave me a number when I got mine, just told me I passed. Seems like so long ago, probably because it is. 😂
@ronguest Congrats to her, and parents! I didn't get a numerical score (New Jersey, 1960s), but I clearly remember that I failed parallel parking, which is still my weakest point as a driver.

@ronguest @jmaxb I will actively avoid parallel parking at all costs, unless there’s no other option. Thankfully I never had to do it for my driving test, or I would’ve failed miserably.
@ronguest We recently passed that milestone, as well. It’s a great feeling. Though, two days ago, she backed into a sign at a gas station. 🙄
@gpittman Yeah, our stress level certainly isn’t zero now that she can drive solo… Still hoping for the best.
