Just accepted the most demanding assignment of the year! Got talked into photographing the kids at kindergarten, 30 of them!
I’m used to tv producers, newspaper editors, and agencies. Not sure I’m ready for 30 moms and dads as clients! 😅
@maique Congrats on the assignment! The kids might keep these photos for maybe 100 years from now, and then their kids will keep them.
@odd This was an extremely easy one to get, as there are only two photographer dads at the school. The other one has an older kid, so he got that age group, and I’m doing the younger ones.
I hadn’t thought about the longevity of the photos, but you’re right, these might survive a lot longer than the ones I usually take 😊

@pcora @gregmoore Hahahahaha... It's very important, I'm well aware, maybe TOO aware. But the fear is real, there are just too many oportunities to go bad. ALL the moms and dads have to be happy. All of them. And some kids are just not as cute as ours... 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Joking, of course. It'll be fine, I'm (almost) sure.
@maique Bring something for the kids to focus on other than you. I still remember the stuffed frog a photographer used to get me to look at his camera when I was five.
@gregmoore I'll try to find something like that frog of yours! Still wondering how the kids will react when they see Santa with a camera, a month in advance!
@gregmoore No, no, it's not! Ever since she started at kindergarten I've been having nightmares about the day when I'll be asked to play Santa at some point! Now, with Santas showing up everywhere, I feel it's getting closer. My own tinyMovieStar looks at them and goes "Daddy!" already... 🤣🎅🏼

@maique @gregmoore when Marley was much much little, my beard was a wee more puffier and bushier lol, she would see a portrait of Jesus and go "that's papa" 😅
