@odd Yes, yes they are. The road to Ouarzazate and Zagora, down from Marrakesh. An incredible one to drive through.
@maique I’ve never been to Morocco, but I used to study atlases when I was younger, and in addition to that, I had just read “The Hardy-Boys and the Mysterious Caravan”, in which some of the action took place in the Atlas Mountains. 🏔
@odd Ha, cool! I’ve always loved maps and atlases, ever since I was very young.
And Morocco is an easy trip for us, it’s very close. When I was younger we’d go often. We’d have dinner in Lisbon, grab the backpack, hop in the car and drive all night. We’d be at the ferry in Spain first thing in the morning, and over the border and ready for breakfast in Morocco already. It was great 😊
@maique Sounds like an adventure! I’ve never been to the African continent. I’ve hardly been to Europe for that matter. Not much traveling for me. It’s not that I mind being other places, I’d love to! It’s the going and the stress of packing and remembering what to bring, and sometimes the actual trip. I’d rather have a teleporter (of a decent brand).
