If I had serious money riding the Crypto markets I’m sure I would have had a stroke by now.

@maique I can't imagine how simple the lives of these people must be. My current average day already comes with more stress than is reasonable!

@simonwoods Exactly! Months ago I had around $60 that I could afford to lose, and that’s what I invested. Seeing it go up to 160, then down to 90, or 80… if these were thousands, I would go crazy!

@maique Invest in these things only what you are comfortable losing. I have some in BTC, ETC, and DOGE. That's all I'm going to ever dabble in for now.

@pratik That’s what I’m doing, it’s money that I consider gone already. I did have a good return many years ago, but that was just when Bitcoin was starting and I forgot I had it for years 🤣 I’m afraid those days are gone.

@maique Well, if only you had held on to BTC you got when it was just starting...

@pratik I know, I know... I had a lot of fun when I sold it, so I focus on that... Hahahahaha...

@maique I definitely couldn't do it having been in a disadvantaged position for years now, and having grown up poor already. If we ever have disposable income enough to consider investing, my wife and I have agreed again and again that such money will only ever be invested in people, in community, in tangible ways that help others.

I don't really understand people who choose to do otherwise, since there are so many ways we can help others. Even if we think it is small, for the people you help it is anything but.

(sorry for the rant; in this country, when you have no money it quickly becomes apparent just how strong a cultural force our class-based system truly is 😅)
