I’m filling out an immigration form. It needs copies of all pages (even the blank ones) of all your passports. Indian passports have 36 pages. And I have three passports 😒

@pratik Wow! First I’ve heard of this one. US ? Our passport has about the same number of pages, but I’ve never been required to submit any of them, anywhere, in dozens of countries.

@pratik oh wait, they need my wife’s passport copies too. She has just as many of them. Fun.

@pratik Thanks. I only went that way once, and barely remember the process today, but I have memory of it being a hassle. Maybe the pages were copied at the embassy, when we were applying, most of it was handled by someone else from the paper. I had to go in at the end for a face-to-face meeting with the officer.

@maique in terms of immigration matters, I have learned not to expect logic.

@pratik Good point! 🤣 My wife (Indian) had to submit ton of docs for UK Spouse Visa even when she is married to a British citizen (me). Apparently, we needed to establish our relationship as legitimate.

@pratik had similar experience recently applying for residency in a country. We went with about 300 pages of copies. They took all in and put stamps in all pages.
