In today’s news I got my first shot of the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine today. The city has things well organized and it was quick and easy. Now to wait ~4 weeks and (hopefully) get the second shot.

@ronguest Well done! I'll probably have to wait a few months, but I would take it today if I could.

@ronguest Hopefully I’ll be able to get mine within a few weeks. Our Governor hasn’t handled this well at all, but he did order yesterday that if people in the first group of eligible recipients haven’t had their shot by January 15, they move to the back of the line and we move to the next group (which I’m in).

@ronguest Congrats! Our county (in upstate NY) has been rolling out vaccinations in an orderly way. We're in 'group 3' (old people without other claims) after nursing home residents and front-line medical people. It will probably be a while, and it would be nice not to die horribly before then, but I trust the local process.

@ronguest excellent. It’ll be quite some time before I get a shot. We’re still doing only healthcare workers in New Jersey.
