@spgreenhalgh it would be better if they said “no school,” let the kiddos have a day off. But I suspect many schools will move to “non-trad instruction” to count the day for their state funding.
@lukemperez To be fair, it is a hassle for everyone to have to extend school at the end of the year when you miss enough days, so I don't blame them for trying to avoid that. But yes, this feels performative, and I think a day off makes more sense.
