As expected the school district made it official: canceled Thursday and Friday due to expected icing. Our kids are not at all disappointed. 🤩
@ronguest Same in Austin. UT Austin is closed tomorrow as well. My kid is going to be glued to his gaming console and FT-ing his friends. We have told him that we may lose power. He was more worried about that.
@pratik once they closed UT and Austin for threat of ice (~2014). My then-fiancé was in Columbus and had to shove a foot of snow of her car and chip ice off her windshield. When she asked how my morning was going while sharing hers, I sent a photo of my roommate and I opening up a Pearlsnap and firing up Netflix. In hindsight, it’s a miracle she married me anyway.
