I solved dynamically inserted podcast ads by signing up to NordVPN and setting my location to Denmark. I can tolerate ads I can understand 5% of – not annoying me the way Finnish ads do.
I wish iOS had a “configure app-specific VPN” feature. I probably will need to disable VPN occassionally

When Danes start annoying me, I will change to Latvia or Lithuania. Those language are impenetrable (to me)
@tkoola When I was still using Twitter, I had no interest in seeing the “trending topics” so I set my location to Afghanistan. The trending topics mostly changed to Arabic and were easy to ignore after that.
