@Archimage Tricky question. I mean, I loved indoor bandy and stickball as ball games. Of card games I like UNO and some regular card games as Canasta and 5-kamp (5 different card games in one). Of board games I like NY Chase, and I used to like Monopoly and Den Forsvunne Diamanten (Lost Diamond) as a kid, and later RISK.

@Archimage I think for a few reasons: it's an easy game to learn, and everyone seems to know it so you don't need to teach it to friends. It's a game of chance and doesn't require a lot of concentration, so you're more likely to play it at times where you're feeling tired. And it's reasonably well balanced, with the advantage shifting amongst the players throughout the hand. Granted, it's not the only non-computer game I play, but I do think it's quite a good one.

@lmika cool. Thank you. That all makes sense.

@Archimage @lmika has explained it very well. I’d like to add that it’s on similar levels of customization as monopoly in terms of variations of family rules.

@Archimage I'm also going with the (original) UNO. I like shorter games more than long ones, and I'm not really fond of the newer versions of the game. I also like the Mindcraft Portal Dash board game, but it takes too much time and energy for me most of the time. I like that it is collaborative between the human players—it helps with children who don't want to lose. I also like Siedler and Monopoly, but it's been ages since I last played them.
