Oof! These mornings have been really cold this last week. Had to bring out my wool and possum fur gloves for the walk to the cafe in 0.5°C weather.
@lmika Huh. Either I'm very ignorant about winter things being from Texas, USA, or we don't have a lot of possum fur things in America?
@val All of the clothing I have with possum fur comes from Australian possums that were introduced into New Zealand. Possums are protected here, but are considered a pest in NZ, so much of the possum fur comes from there. That’s where these gloves come from, plus a couple of scarfs. Worth trying to get some if you can get it imported.
