Eight months in and I’m still enjoying writing technical documents in Obsidian. I’ve never really appreciated how well it works for this form of writing. I wish we were using this for our knowledge base, instead of Confluence.

@lmika It probably needs integrated version control, but I guess one could simply use Git for that.
@lmika I keep on wanting to do more with mermaid, but I don’t have much going on that needs it.
@mandaris Oh yeah, I'm not one that goes seeking for reasons to use Mermaid. 😀 (it did come in handy today when I needed to whip up a quick sequence diagram for a Slack message, though). But it's also things like callouts and decent syntax highlighting that make it a nice app for writing long form documents. Confluence supports all this as well, but having this all using Markdown is just so much better.
