@martinfeld I personally have spotted neither, but a friend saw dolphins off our beach one time. I heard of a humpback whale coming up beneath a small boat only about 10 Km north of here and one or two dead whales have washed ashore here that I know about. I keep scanning the sea in hopes of seeing something…
@martinfeld I do remember seeing dolphins when I took the Sorrento to Queenscliff ferry, which crossed the heads of Port Phillip Bay, a number of years ago. I don’t remember much except that they were pretty close to the boat.
