Had to go to the new office today so I tried out the commute. The walk from Southern Cross to the office is exactly 20 minutes.

@lmika I used to walk that between the train and work and considered it almost the perfect distance. By the time I'd reached the station to go home I'd cleared work out of my head.

@meandering Yeah, it's amazing how much better a commute is with a decent walk.

@lmika I love the scenery in the picture, it looks so green but is still city. And the contrast of the modern building in the background with the olden looking tram. So nice.

@V_ Yeah, granted not every street in Melbourne looks like this, but there are some vantage points which look quite nice, especially with the rain softening things a little.
