On This Day reminded me that in 2018 and 2020 I did an online hearing test. So here's another. I attribute where there is improvement at 500 and 1K to the fact that tinnitus now seldom bothers me very much. Looks like high pitch has declined though.

@Miraz I'd be curious to know how you added On This Day to your blog. Was there a plugin/JS library I could add to mine?
@lmika This predated plugins I think. Make a new Page with an appropriate name then add this code with your correct timezone:
<div id="on-this-day">
<p>On This Day … Loading ... </p>
</div>
<script src="https://micromemories.cleverdevil.io/js?tz=Pacific/Auckland"></script>
@Miraz Sigh, what a mess! Can you figure that out? I don't know the correct way to quote HTML in a Reply…
@Miraz You might be able to indent them by 4 spaces:
< div class="example" >
< p >Like this< /p >
< /div >
EDIT - Ok, that worked but I had to add spaces between all the angle brackets. I guess that's the HTML sanitiser's escaping them.
@Miraz testing...
`<div id="on-this-day"> Loading... </div>
<script src="https://micromemories.cleverdevil.io/js?tz=US/Pacific"></script>`
(it doesn't look good in the Preview on the Mac app but let's see...)
I used the ` character to make the editor ignore the code but I can't say for sure if that would work every time.
Honestly I wish the Micro.blog editor would get improved for problems like this, as well as missing obvious stuff like keyboard shortcuts. It's such an important part of using the platform.
@Miraz Is it that tinnitus has lessened or it bothers you less now? I’ve had tinnitus for several months now, and it only really bothers me when my surroundings are quiet, and even then it’s a mere annoyance.
