@lmika This kind of thing just makes me ignore Tumblr... I mean, along with a few other things, however this mistake is so very basic. Gives you a hint as to how much they don't care about blogging, despite what they might say via their public messaging.
I'm sure if RSS had the same trending power of ActivityPub then Matt Mullenweg would be all over it.
@SimonWoods @lmika What's different or improved since Tumblr were acquired by Auttomatic? I can't find anything obvious.
@numericcitizen @Simonwoods To be fair to Auttomatic, I’m not sure this was a problem that was introduced after the acquisition. I do wish they addressed it though, especially if they’re interested in making the open web a great place to read content from their platforms. The fruit is hanging so low and there for the picking.
