@val As far as we know, her house itself is indeed fine, thankfully. And yeah, I'm struggling with weird irrational feelings of guilt (like, "if I hadn't insisted he go to the doctor, he wouldn't have this to stress about now!") but I know I should actually be relieved he went and found out about this now, instead of any later! Psychology is weird.
