Went for my afternoon walk yesterday, and saw an echidna looking for food. That doesn’t happen every day, so it seemed like a good subject for a video.
@Miraz I think they're slightly larger, with longer quills (although I'm not certain), but yeah, they're very much the Aussie version of a hedgehog, even down to their diet (predominately ants).
@lmika Oooh, that's exciting! I think the only echidna I've seen (outside zoos) was on Phillip Island. But it was moving around a lot less than that one – I think it was sunbathing (or even taking a nap) and just waiting for us to go away 😆
