It’s said that it’s a good idea not to blog while your angry. I think that’s good advice. After all, there’s already a lot of anger out there and no-one needs any more.

But I need to vent somewhere. So watch out journal!

@lmika I try to keep my "complaining" blog posts to about 1% or less of the total. Now and again there's something I just need to vent about, but in general I aim to be somewhere between neutral and positive.

@Miraz Yeah, I think that's a healthy balance to strike.

@lmika There should be an AI that would rage-quit the device if the posts get to negative and to many. 🤔

@odd Maybe all it needs to do is pop up a message saying something like "Just a reminder that others will see this, so do you really want to say that? Maybe sit on it for now, and come back to it in a few minutes." That way, it could also be used for posts containing things like spelling errors, which is another thing that happens all too frequently. 😄

@lmika I think it depends what you're angry about. Work or family or something stupid out in public, yeah, probably good advice. But sometimes anger seems appropriate, like in response to injustice or authoritarianism or bad faith 🤷‍♀️ Can be a chance to release some frustration.

@Cheri I like it! 🦀 I'd want to read it because I like hearing what pisses people off 😂👀 A good rant can be very entertaining 😁

@tracydurnell @lmika @cheri I was firmly and deeply mired in a “get off my lawn” day today. Weekend is sorely needed and will be thoroughly enjoyed.
