@lmika Great post, and very relatable (as another Melburnian). So many of the memories I have of those early days are just surreal – like when the supermarket was completely sold out of nearly all food, or the day of work I had at one school where panic just set in over the course of the day and by the end they asked me to hand out a thick wad of homework for all students to have "just in case" lockdowns were announced over the weekend. (They weren't, but that wasn't far away, just a week or two later.) It's a relief that we've achieved "Covid normal" for now, but I still – of course – feel for people in the many countries that are still in crisis.

@jayeless Thank you for that. Yeah, the uncertainty and fear of those first several weeks were quite surreal. Something that I’ve never personally experienced before. And, yeah, I too are happy that we’ve achieved Covid normal. I never thought we would actually get there, and I feel for those that are going through a much more difficult time.
