Do you talk a man more seriously if he wears a suit?
@CStamp I'm significantly less likely to trust a man in a suit.
A guy in a hoodie might take your wallet, but a guy in a suit is more likely to take you for everything you're worth.
@CStamp The most dangerous people on the planet wear suits.
I never trust a man who will daily tie his own noose before trying to sell something.
And they're all trying to sell something.
@CStamp As a man who hasn’t even owned a suit in maybe 20 years, that’s a big no. I pay more attention to how a man speaks and acts.
@CStamp I look upon them very suspiciously. I grew up and live in Hawaii. I rented a suit the only time I needed one in my life.
@CStamp so weird thing… I do psychologically bin a person into a category if he is wearing a *bad* suit… but it’s also the attitude they bring with it. Ill-fitting but expensive? Def a warning sign.
Generally though, I do think dressing appropriately (flight suit, bathing suit, monkey suit, etc) tells me you are at least trying to be serious. It’s vaguely like a canary/coal mine situation for me.
