Kukio beach is public access which is required by law for all Hawaii Resorts , though they only have about 20 parking stalls and don’t let any more people in till someone leaves. so coming early is a must. We bring a tent and make a full day of it.
@hawaiiboy it amazed me how lazy jet lagged west coasters didn’t get on the beaches until the afternoon. Whenever I go to Maui from California, we're enjoying the beach by 7 am or even before the lifeguards are on duty and the trash is picked up. Perfect time to enjoy the glorious beaches of Hawaii. 😍
