@odd yeah for most it's not livable -- here in Northern California, we're used to this a couple times a year but not this early. Air conditioning is widespread here, fortunately. Not so in Oregon & Washington.

@kurite That is just ludicrous. Scary part is the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. and Western Canada is set to smash temperature records, and with the humidex values could feel into the 50’s (°C).

@kurite Yes, I heard they’ve had a unusually hot summer so far as well. We’ve been very lucky in Oslo this summer. Warm, but pleasant. I guess Northern Washington is comparable to Oslo weather on a ordinary summer. 🌦
