After watching a few reviews of the new Leatherman multi-tool line during a logged out session, YouTube served me far right conspiracy theories and fear mongering as ads.

@ryanboren my husband had the same issue after watching a couple of YouTube videos on WWII German tanks. It is scary the paths that youtube assumes that you want to go down. If only there was a way to say "this is not a path I want to go down or even see."
@ryanboren I watch a few Orthodox Christian sources (hymns, sermons etc.) and my sidebar shows talks on how slavery is misunderstood, we (we?) could have won the Vietnam war if our rulers hadn't been cowards, etc. What do you have to do not to see this stuff on YouTube?
@ryanboren Yeah. Anything outdoorsy puts you in a weird doomsday preppier algorithm. And I’m pretty sure Google tracks you by your IP address, because logging out doesn’t seem to help.
