I was rereading the Making of the President 1968 and this quote from the Great Depression caught my eye because it fits today’s world perfectly
@odd I do highly recommend it. Theodore White wrote a whole series called Making of the President from 1960 thru 1976. The 1968 one is the most well known. While reading it I found a lot of things that mirrored today’s political and social environment.
@klandwehr That era is interesting to me, being born into the middle of it. The 1960 and 1968 ones is what I would like to read the most.
