An informal survey: When visiting a blog (not via RSS), which layout do you prefer? (I like them all, so help me decide.)

1. Full posts
2. Titles and a brief excerpt
3. Titles only

@jack I prefer full posts, During Fireball style.

@jack Titles and a brief excerpt for me, though it doesn’t have to be all that brief. Maybe two paragraphs. But, like @leonp, I don’t like to have to scroll past a series of long posts. Maybe have a cut-off after, say, 350 words so that shorter posts would be shown in full?

@jack Based on the thread following your post, I have changed my posts to Full Posts, though Safari’s aggressive caching is fighting that decision.

I'm surprised at the number of people on this thread favoring full posts!

@jack Wow, I am surprised by the number of people that want full posts. That is hard for me. I much prefer title and an excerpt to scan through and find something again, or decide if it’s worth investing more time to read.

@jack I’m a full posts in RSS guy. I prefer not needing to leave Reeder if possible to stay in the flow.
