Okay so which Generation was it that wore ultra baggy jeans with their bottom, half or all, sticking out?

@bradenslen @smokey is on the money, late X early Y. It was an interesting fashion choice, I’m sure it’ll come back again, it sort of is now, with the amount of flesh on show
@smokey @matpacker Yikes, I forgot there was a Generation Y! If those poor kids ever run for office, somebody will trot those photos out of them with their butt hanging out. Boomers like me can't really talk because we had flaired bell bottom pants and platform boots in the 1970's that we have to live down. #freedomrock
@bradenslen @smokey @matpacker I get confused with the generation names, and they are not even the same length. Isn’t GenY and “Millennials” almost the same, btw?
@matpacker @odd @bradenslen “Sagging” I believe the trend was called (it came to me in my sleep last night 😝)
For some reason I’d thought Millenials were Generation Z, but I guess not. (The whole X, Y, Z system reminds me of those Latinate placeholder names for the later- and transactinides; for whatever reason, X never got renamed with a real name 😜)
@smokey Yes, sagging. The pants that were cut for that effect, we called “saggebukser“. (Saggy pants). Apropos Generation Y. (The source seem to not have it online).
