@Miraz I’ve been toying with the idea of learning from a course or a guide. Seeing this makes me want to look more into it.

@kirschen I downloaded that a couple of weeks ago. Even though I also got the region pack I’m not sure it’s really quite up to NZ birds. Haven’t given it a very good test yet though. My hardest thing is hearing but not seeing a bird and figuring out what it might be.

@Miraz I don’t do much drawing, but, like photography, it makes me pay attention to the details more. I find that field marks don’t make it into long term memory without some serious mental engagement.
