@khurtwilliams the m series are still very close to (if not the smallest) form factor you can get for a full-frame camera, and when you add the lenses, no contest.

@whlteXbread I replied to you via my website but it seems @help does not support Webmentions in a standard way: help.micro.blog/t/replies…

@whlteXbread

My website uses Webmentions. If you do not know what that is, go read here: help.micro.blog/t/webment… and here: help.micro.blog/t/replies…

Here’s a breakdown of key points from the documentation:

  1. Webmention on Micro.blog:

From the Webmention documentation, it’s confirmed that Micro.blog supports webmentions. When a webmention is sent to a Micro.blog post, it can display as a comment on the post.

Important points from this doc:

Micro.blog accepts webmentions from other websites (like WordPress) when they are formatted correctly.
Webmentions that are sent to Micro.blog posts should appear as comments on the post.

However, Micro.blog does not automatically send webmentions to external sites — this is a one-way integration (from my WordPress site to Micro.blog).

  1. Replies and Mentions on Micro.blog:

The Replies and Mentions documentation explains how replies and mentions work within Micro.blog.

Replies: When I reply to a post on Micro.blog, it is treated as a new post (not a comment). Replies can include mentions (using @username), and they will appear in the timeline of the mentioned user.

Mentions: When I mention someone using @username, Micro.blog will treat it as a mention, and the user will see it in their timeline. If they reply to my mention, that’s treated as a new post.

Key Point from this doc:

Replies to comments on Micro.blog (via Webmentions) may not display in the same way as other replies on Micro.blog. The webmention system in Micro.blog doesn’t seem to automatically treat responses to comments as new posts, which might be why my responses aren’t appearing in the comment thread.

**How Does This Affect Your Webmention Responses?
**

Micro.blog doesn’t automatically display webmention responses to comments as part of the comment thread. Replies to comments via webmention are treated as new posts in Micro.blog. This may explain why my webmentions aren’t showing up under the original comment as replies.
