Republican president and COVID mess Republican state leaders in Texas and the current weather crisis

@hawaiiboy Covid was going to be a mess regardless, and Cuomo may have screwed up more than Trump. Texas rolled the dice, keeping electric rates low partly by not winterizing. The dice now come up snake-eyes. I detested Trump, by the way, from day one, and quit GOP in 2005. Just sayin’.

@ReaderJohn I’m with you on that. I’ve become party agnostic and ideology focused.

I feel COVID would have had a different degree of suckiness with different leadership. Maybe money to that fight rather than a wall, etc.

@hawaiiboy I was trying to keep it to 280 characters but ran over. I do believe that better leadership would have mitigated the problems, that 45 made it worse, but nobody, anywhere, avoided all problems on a national level through political cunning and will.
